Round, flat, bronze(?) medal. Raised bust of King George V in profile, wearing crown on obverse. ‘GEORGIVS V REX ET IN: IMP:’ in raised letters on obverse. Raised swan standing with flapping wings with waved banner marked ‘CYGNIS INSIGNIS’ around its feet on reverse side. ‘CENTENARY•OF•WESTERN•AUSTRALIA•1929’ in raised lettering around border on reverse. ‘KG’ in small raised lettering on left of banner.
