Wooden plaque holding 3 medals in a tiangular setting. (.1) The top medal, showing the reverse side, depicts a swan, with the wording 'CENTENARY OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA/1929' bordering the swan. On a scroll underneath the swan, the words: 'CYGNIS INSIGNIS'. The obverse of the medal depicts King George V, with the words: 'GEORGIVS V REX ET IND: IMP:' The medal rests on black velvet. Handwritten in white, underneath the medal: 'Official Centenary Medal/ (Bronze)/ Struck 15th March 1929, by Lady Mc Millan.'
(.2 & .3) Below are two bronze coloured medals of the same. On the left showing the obverse and the right, the reverse. (.4) Wooden, varnished plaque, with velvet coverec insets to fit the medals. Handwritten on lower edge of the plaque: 'Presented by the Royal Mint, Perth, 1929'
There is an original registration number in black ink on the top left corner: 'Med-/1929'
