BATHING COSTUME, women’s, black & white ‘Watersun’

Skirted, black with white trim, nylon, ‘Watersun’ women’s bathing costume. Black nylon fabric faded, white trim yellowed. Wide black straps, with white trim, round neck, padded bra cups (cream inside with elastic and stitched support), some orange/yellow staining on lining of right bra cup and left underarm. Front: Three body panels across suit from neck to hips, hemmed with white trim. White trimmed ‘skirt’/slip covers from neck to top of gusset. Some sunscreen (?) residue around leg holes. Back: two decorative clear buttons affixed to back of straps, scoop back. Two panels across back, from scoop back to hips (same as front). Sunscreen (?) residue around straps and back neck. Main body of bathers (under skirted slip): sheer white/cream nylon below bra cups, across back to waist, then black to gusset. Maker’s label on side seam, next to left breast, Front; ‘Watersun/SIZE TO FIT/14 Bust 90cm/Waist 70cm/Hip 95cm/Made in Australia. Back; Rinse in cool water/after each use and/dry away from/direct heat/or sunlight./Do not use/detergent, wring/twist or bleach.’
