Black silk armband with round black cotton armband sewn onto it. Badge has a grey and white embroidered star in centre, encircled by embroidered words "ST JOHN AMBULANCE ASSOCIATION". Star is also encircled by coiled metal thread, and words also encircled by coiled metal thread. Badge handstitched onto armband with brown cotton thread, and armband stitched together with brown thread.
