Second of three postcards with a letter written over course of the three. (H1999.174, .175 and .176). Black and white photograph on front of People walking in front of pavilion. Caption in black at top "Weymouth. The Pavilion and entrance to Pier." Writtten in black ink on reverse is continuation of letter in H1999.174. "Perhaps I may be unlucky/ and not reach home. I hope/not. I would love to see you/again even if I had to say/goodbye soon afterwards/ However I shall wait and/see what next week brings/They want me to do RAMC (?)/work on the boat I have"
Letter continues on next postcard. There is also secondary comment on second half of postcard. "This is the same place/only a much nicer view/It is only a few minutes/walk from camp to the/sea. We go for a walk to/the beach every night/The sun shone today/was a grand treat it is/not often it is so"
