Carpet sweeper with yellow painted convex plywood head and wooden handle, originally painted silver/grey. Four rubber trimmed wheels on the underside rotate a central spindle onto which five rows of bristles are attached in a wave pattern. The bristles would pick up dust when the spindle is rotated. The dust would be deposited into a hinged metal-lidded box on each side of the spindle. The box lids flap down for emptying.
