Background colour of calendar yellow. Top half of calendar is a print of a painting entitled 'SNOW CAPS ON THE ROCKIES'. The foreground of the scene is of a grassy and shrub covered bank with touches of red colouring. River is shade of blue and green showing reflections of the pine forrest in the background. Snow capped mountains and blue clear sky in background. Centre of calendar in bold dark blue 'With compliments from/ W. GINBEY/ QUALITY BUTCHER/ 256 SUBURBAN ROAD/ SOUTH PERTH/ Phone: MU655/ Deliveries to South Perth Victoria Park'. On left, is a picture of an opened packet of Bushell's Blue Label Tea - 'The Tea/ of Flavor'. On right is picture of Bushell's Pure Coffee, 'Vacuum Packed/ Stays Fresh'. Colours - Blue, Red and White. Lower half is calendar proper, outlined in rose, and printed in black. 1940.
Pencilled notes in lead and brown coloured pencil, as well as notes in ink pen cover both the back and front of the calendar.
