LODGE COLLAR

H1995.7

Red velvet collar bears emblem on right (facing collar) of the Lodge 'Star' , on left (facing colar) are 4cm high initials 'PA', indicating position. Red velvet collar is bound in two thicknesses of gold thread tape. The thick tape on the outer edge has letters 'VAOD' repeated around the collar. Gold tassels of 2cm length are worked into bottom edge of collar. Whole collar is lined in heavy matt black cotton duck. On inside centre back label is sewn (white lettering on red): 'DAVID JONES LIMITED/ REGALIA MAKERS/ SYDNEY N.S.W.'. The two lapels of collar are held in place by gold metal bar with an acorn symbol at centre. See also H.1995.9; Gold medal.
