a. Cardboard box, covered in brown wrapping paper. Small label containing manufacturer's details, as above, 'Ref. 214-3 / SELF-AD / SYMBOLS / For use with / CELLOGRAPH MAPS / AND CHARTS' 'E90 20/9'has been written in pencil across the top of the label. At the bottom is another label 'ALBERTS BOOKSHOP / GENERAL & TECHNICAL / BOOKSELLERS / FORREST PLACE - PERTH W.A.' b. Characters. Some are simple squares, triangles, rectangles, etc which appear to belong with the game. Others are characters of an Indian or cowboy and Indian type which appear to have come from another source and have simply been kept with the game. For the simple shapes there are also pieces of tracing paper the same shape, presumably the original backing paper. d. Roll of plastic interspersed with tracing paper. Five sheets, red, yellow, blue, green and black. Some have had shapes cut from the end of the roll. The toys were used by Miss Frances Rogers. Miss Rogers, born on 19 Oct 1904, went to Teacher's College in 1930 and joined the Education Department of W.A. in 1934. Between 1934 and her retirement in 1967, she taught at various country schools, took special classes for deaf and dumb children in Mosman Park, and classes for mentally and physically disabled children in Leederville. She also made and purchased a large collection of puppets which were used as teaching aids. These are accessioned under numbers H88/613 to H89/307 (not inclusive).
