ADHESIVE FAIRY FIGURES GAME

Game of forming pictures with plastic figures. Intended for use on window panes in winter. Called Adhesive Fairy Figures Game 1. a. Box has five pictures using the characters which children can copy. Inside the lid are detailed instructions for playing, basically as described above. They point out that it was for use without adhesive or water and that the figures could be used repeatedly. '13/9' is written in pencil on box. b. Plastic figures. Eight people figures, eighteen others. Includes Snow White and Dwarfs, Hansel and Gretel and Wicked Witch. c. Semi-opaque sheet of plastic for sticking figures to. d. Four sheets of coloured cardboard, 2 gold and 2 silver. Each has an attachment at the top for hanging on a hook. The toys were used by Miss Frances Rogers. Miss Rogers, born on 19 Oct 1904, went to Teacher's College in 1930 and joined the Education Department of W.A. in 1934. Between 1934 and her retirement in 1967, she taught at various country schools, took special classes for deaf and dumb children in Mosman Park, and classes for mentally and physically disabled children in Leederville. She also made and purchased a large collection of puppets which were used as teaching aids. These are accessioned under numbers H88/613 to H89/307 (not inclusive).
