Button "AUSTRALIAN RED CROSS APPEAL 1918". Small, circular in shape, cheap manufacture. Features red border, gold centre with large red cross flag below which is the above caption: "AUSTRALIAN RED CROSS APPEAL 1918" written o scrolls. Manufacturer's name written in fine print around edge of badge: A.W. PATRICK MAKER, 440 RAE ST. NORTH FITZROY, MELB.". Produced as a token for donations to the above appeal during World War One. Part of Great War Patriot War Effort.
