BADGE, Hawking Stop Uranium

H1990.401

Button type badge. Made by pressing a piece of paper covered by a protective sheet onto a metal base. The badge has the following printed on it in black and yellow: "HAWKING / STOP / URANIUM". The "O" in stop is yellow with a happy face printed on it in red. 'Hawking' and 'uranium' are printed on the badge around the edges with 'stop' printed more boldly across the middle. On the back the following maker's mark is printed in a circular fashion in the centre of the badge: "MELBOURNE PATRICK BROTHERS". The pin has been attached to the badge, probably by the manufacturers, after pressing.
