Young girl's (about 15 y.o.) dress of white cotton muslin, hand-embroidered all over with white-work sprays; wide, round neck with fine drawstring, trimmed with scalloped white-work frill; short bodice, gathered a centre front for fullness, trimmed with 2 vertical insertions; high inserted waistband of cotton cambric; long skirt gauged to waistband, trimmed at hem with 3 frills of scalloped white-work; short puffed sleeves gauged to bodice, edged with band of white-work trim; back closure with 1 worked button and 2 brass hooks; handsewn throughout.
