Inscriptions: Not signed or dated. "Rose" on flag mast in reverse. Subject Matter: Brigantine entering harbour - unidentified. Other: The "Rose" was built by Mr Robert Wrightson at Rockingham about 75 to 80 years ago. Won the fastest sailing time for trading in the China tea trade. This picture was painted to commemorate the event. See also T411.
