Inscriptions: Signed: "Richardson" lower right corner. Subject Matter: The Residency, Albany. Biography: Trained as a nurse. While looking after relative, began painting, first by colouring photographs. Mainly a flower painter - the Forestry Department has over sixty flower studies - some reproduced in "Flowers of W.A" 1929 with Helen Ogden (also C.A. Gardner). In 1940 moved to Albany and took up oils and landscapes. At the Albany Art Group Summer School received tuition from Florence Fuller and A.B. Webb.
