Scalloped edge. Medium blue printed pattern of flowers and scrolls on edge. Edge also has moulded scroll pattern. Centre pattern of large flowers, Alpine cottages with mountains in distance. Mark on base in under-glaze blue: "(Flowers & Scroll - within scroll & Genevese \ Opaque (symbol) China." Ref. Godden, Encyclopaedia, (1964), page 43 and especially A.W.
