2 earthenware dinner plates with transfer pattern in blue/black with overglaze red, green and yellow. Central chinoiserie design of branch with peonies, incense burner, vase, and three 'umbrella' flowers. Incese burner surmounted by 'Doy of Fo'. Diaper border with scrolls and peonies around side. Border on rim of scrolls and diaper border patterns painted red with some yellow edging. Marks on back of rim: double circle with 'JEDO/P.B. & H' surmounted by crown and surrounded by laurel wreath. Blue underglaze.
