Ann Roberts: An unusual 'rose-verte' plate, the with a medallion depicting a maiden watching from a pavilion window two boys fishing from a small boat in a lotus pool, within a flower and diaper border, the everted rim with scroll and fan shaped panels of fruiting branches reserved on a sepia fish-roe ground.
