Medal ribbon bar bearing, from left to right, the ribbons of the Military Cross with bar, denoted by silver rose, worn in the of the Military Cross ribbon; the British War Medal, 1914 to 1920; and the Victory medal. The ribbons are stretched over a brass bar and fixed at the rear by sliding segments of brass through which brass loops, for attachment to the uniform, have been passed.
