MEDAL Miniature Victory

W1983.26.e

Part of set of five miniatures worn with mess uniform or formal civilian evening dress. Awarded to "Captain D.S. Aarons A.I.F.". Medals are all fixed to a black felt-backed board which bears the manufacturer's label: "By Appointment / Chorleys / Sydney." The miniature medal cluster was attached to the uniform via a long brass pin running horizontally across the back. See File 144/71 for biographical details.
