Saya: brown painted aluminium of World War II army pattern, with gilded brass kojiri, ashi, shibabiki and kuchi gane

Tsuka: blue stained same with brown cotton, World War II navy pattern. Brown silk cord with tassel attached

Fuchi/kabuto gane: gilded brass, cherry blossom motif
Tsuka ai: en suite

Tsuba: patinated copper, of naga-maru-gata shape. Large seppa, of ray pattern, seppa to within 0.5 cm of edge. Dimensions: 6.1 x 7.9 x 0.5 cm

Overall length: 102.0 cm
In this example, an army scabbard has been fitted on a navy sword.
