A.M.F. = Australian Military Forces. Cameron Highlanders of WA
KILT; Cameron tartan? - woollen - good condition - lined at top by green cloth and broader linen lining. Outside leather strap and buckle.
SPORRAN; 41.5cm long - on top black leather pouch on front holding black horsehair field and 2 white horsehair tassels held at top by black leather -28cm long. On front of pouch - white metal St Andrew holding a St Andrews cross surrounded by a laurel of thistles, underneath "Cameron XVI HIGHLANDERS, WESTERN AUSTRALIA".
At back, tan leather pouch - edged black leather -21.5cm long. Black leather waist belt passes through top. Appears to have had 2 or 3 owners in its career from markings on rear.
