'1988: The Bicentenary/ Join the Celebration!' printed on the front with Join the celebration written in cursive letters. Inside brochure features illustration of cake in the shape of Australia with two candles. Left hand side is a text box with information on what the Bicentenary is and how it is going to be celebrated. The background features illustrations of streamers and confetti littered across the inside cover. The poster contains more information on the bicentenary against the backdrop of fireworks in the night sky. A large cartoon like image of a young person is printed on the poster taking up almost 3/4. The poster is headlined '1988: THE BICENTENARY/ Join the Celebration!' in the same font but larger. Further text is included below in three columns covering some of the Educational and Cultural Programs, Commemorative projects, special events and local community activities. The back of the brochure is a white and grey text box set against the backdrop of fireworks in the night sky. The Australian Bicentennial Authority logo is printed mid page with contact details for the individaul state or territory offices printed below.
