PINAFORE, infant’s, cotton

Small Victorian white Manchester cotton children's pinafore. Hand-stitched with machine embroidered scalloped collars and sleeves tacked to garment. Broderis anglaise floral embroidery design on sleeves and collar. Narrow picot ribbon looped around collar to form a drawstring. Partial garment only, due to fire damage. Right sleeve and front of garment no longer extant. Burn damage and discolouration across garment.
