Postcard with black and white photograph of field with soldiers standing, sitting,carts and tent in background. Caption in white at base of card "FIRST AID POST ON SOMME BATTLEFIELD". Letter in black ink on reverse of card. "Dearest Lida/A few more cards to give/you some conception of hte /Battle ground in France/Perhaps these post cards are on sale/in Australia by this (?). I hope so/Not yet had another letter from/you yet".
