Hessian bag, oblong, machine-sewn with heavy thread seam (inside) down side and bottom and with raw (fraying) edge at top. Printed on one side 'COLONIAL SUGAR REFINING CO. LTD./ PURE/ CANE SUGAR/ 70lbs/ PERTH/ 1A/ MANUFACTURED IN/ WESTERN AUSTRALIA'. Remnant stitching at top indicates where the bag was originally stitched closed.
