WATER BAG, Hessian
H2002.30
Cylindrical brown hessian water bag, with cream canvas lid. Metal ring is inside lid to hold shape. A piece of rope is looped through two holes at either side of top of bag. Half of canvas lid is sewn on , other half is unattached. A metal hook is sewn onto this loose half of the lid, which hooks onto a metal loop on the hessian hose to stop water pouring out of the hose. The hessian hose has a small plastic tube fitted into the end of it to direct the flow of water. Printed in brown on the body of the bag "J1-JAA-020 1/GGCF [upward pointing arrow symbol] 1967"
