Large brown hessian bag. Reads 'USE NO HOOKS PLEASE/ SPRAY DRIED/ NOR' WEST WHALING CO LTD CARNARVON/ WHALE SOLUBLES/ MIN. 82% CRUDE PROTEIN/ MAX. 0.4% CRUDE FAT/ MAX. 0.1% CRUDE FIBRE/ 80LBS. NETT/ WHEN PACKED/ PRODUCE OF AUSTRALIA'. All printing is black except 'USE NO HOOKS PLEASE' and 'WHALE SOLUBLES' which is in red. Name of company encircles picture of whale in ocean, spouting water. Bottom of bag and one side stitched from outside, overlock style, with hessian thread.
