NEWSPAPER, THE DAWN

H1996.46.1-10

Nine of the newspapers have 4 pages and one has 8 pages. Above the large heading of 'The/ Dawn' (on each paper) is another heading. The verse underneath 'The/ Dawn' in earlier publications has been replaced by an explanation of the journal. The newspapers contain articles about a variety of issues of concern or of interest to women, both local and international news. There is also a little advertising. Each newspaper has an advert for 'Gibsania Wools' on the front page, which fills one third of the page. Eight of the papers have an advert for 'Watsonia/Hams & Bacons' on the back page and three have adverts for 'Boans' on the back page. There are also adverts in the middle pages. See H.1996.45.
