PRINTING BLOCK, THE DAWN

Metal plate, semi-circular in shape, nailed to a rectangular wooden block which has two stepped sections cut on both sides. The lettering on the plate, 'The/ Dawn' has an angular background. The figures are raised. A small rectangle has been cut from the block under the lettering. (On the newspapers there appears a verse in this space). See H.1996.45.1-8. Ink stained through use.
