PRINTING BLOCK, Royal Perth Hospital, wood

Metal printing plate nailed in four corners to a wood veneer block. The block is made up of 5 thin layers of wood, glued together. There are large grooves cut on the faces of two opposing sides. The plate is round, and around the edge is written 'PERTH HOSPITAL/ WESTERN AUSTRALIA'. Inside is a shield with a central cross. In the top right facing corner is a silhouetted swan. There is a brick like turret/crown on top of the shield.
