PRINTING BLOCK, Hale school Coat of arms, wood

Metal printing plate nailed at three points to wooden block. Block is wood veneer made of six layers of thin wood. On bottom end is a thin piece of paper glued on to base. The plate features the head of a black swan at its crest, resting on a bar. Beneath this, a shield with a cross-band at the centre surmounted by three cinquefoils. Underneath the shield a scroll with the word 'DUTY'.
