PETTICOAT

H1996.249

Pale yellow cotton petticoat, with gathered waist and elastic inside waist band. Thick gathered frill of same material sewn onto petticoat edged with pink lace. Printed in blue along exterior of one side of petticoat, near lace, 'LUCKY PUCK LAWN', with picture of smiling boy's face on either side. Printed in smudged black ink on inside of waist, 'VAL STRAHAN'. Cream ribbon loop attached to both side seams, at inside of waist (for hanging up petticoat).
