Dark blue leather bound collection of WEST AUSTRALIAN MINING AND COMMERICAL REVIEW magazines March 1937-February 1938. On spine in gold, 'WESTERN AUSTRALIAN/ MINING & COMMERCIAL REVIEW'. This is repeated on front cover in gold with 'C.A. de Bernales'. Inside end papers are marbled in blue and peach colours and there is an embossed gold design around the inside borders of the volume. All edges of magazines have been gilded.
Apart from mining information and associated articles, issue May 1937 acknowledges the newly crowned King George VI. Advertisements in the magazines are diverse and include Bunning Bros, McCormick-Deering Tractors, P&O Cruises, Kalgoorlie Foundry Ltd, J&W Bateman, Nobel Explosives, Joyce Bros (Fremantle), London Court Arcade, Ardath Cigarettes (with fashionable woman), Wunderlich, Millars Timber. Advertisement also in June 1937 p.33 for leather binding of magazines and article on opening of London Court Arcade in issue of August 1937.
