Russett brown covered leather (?) book with 461 entries about famous business people in Western Australia. Each has a face photograph with caricatured body and associations (cars, sports, interests). A caption gives brief biographic details. Spine is lettered in gold 'MEN OF/ WESTERN AUSTRALIA' and on the front cover within a decorative border 'MEN OF/ WESTERN AUSTRALIA'. In lower right corner - 'E. FAYE'. The preface states the purpose of this volume as 'to/ group together the leaders of Public,/ Professional, Ecclesiastical, Commercial, Mining/ and Sporting life as existant in the years/ 1936-37 and to place them and their activities/ on record in a worthy manner'.
The entry for Ennemond Faye (plate 122) reads 'He is a director of Yellowdine Gold Development Limited,/ Comet Gold Mines Limited, Australian Mines Management and/ Secretariate Limited, West Australian Mining and Commercial/ Review Limited, and various other companies.
Member of the following clubs: Perth Club, Hannan's Club,/ Kalgoorlie, Royal Yacht Club, W.A. Turf Club, Freshwater Bay Yacht Club. His recreations are motoring, tennis and swimming, / and his address is London House, 321 Murray Street, Perth.' The entry for C.A. de Bernales is plate 119.
