EVENING PURSE
H1995.16
Small brown velvet purse, with flat bottom and loose unstructured sides pleated onto a faux tortoiseshell nouveau-influenced handle frame. The curved organic lines of the art nouveau tradition are recognisable in the decorative clasp, and in the use of the raised tulip motif of green and purple flowers on the front and back of the frame. Bag lined in brown sateen.
