PASS, Waterside Workers'

H1993.115

The pass is a tag, silver in colour, with 'Waterside / 966 / Workers / Pass' written on it. On ringing the Waterside Workers' Federation and the Port Authority it was established that the tag was used as a pass to work on the waterfront and the number was an identification number for roster purposes. The date of 1928-29 came from the W.W.F. when they donated the tag.
