All three tickets are printed invitations for the annual picnic held by the Waterside Workers' Federation in February at the South Perth Zoo. All of the tickets have perforated rectangles at the bottom of the invitation, enabling the bearer to 1) gain entrance to the zoo, 2) be given a piece of fruit and 3) be given some soft drink. (A) is a pink ticket with gold embossed edging for the 52nd Annual Picnic in 1952. (B) is a blue/green ticket with gold edging for the 1953 Picnic and (C) is a yellow ticket with gold edging for the 1954 Picnic. (C) was actually an invitation for a Mr. Bradshaw.
