BADGE, Tupperware

H1990.66

Plastic badge, gold in colour with blue writing and design. Across the top is "JACKAWHIT / Sales TUPPERWARE / ANN MADISON". ANN MADDISON is engraved on the badge and appears in black. It is rectangular in shape, but at the left hand end is a cut out "J" shape with a large letter "J" in blue. The back of the badge is black. It has a white plastic pin clip attached to the back with a metal pin. On it are the words "PAT.P / JAPAN". On checking with the authorised Tupperware distributors, Majestic Sales of Osborne Park, it was found that Jackawhit was another distributor of Tupperware which closed in about 1986 when the managers retired. The badge was purchased from the Red Shield shop in Maylands for 10 cents.
