ALARM BELL

H1989.757

Former Kalgoorlie Mining Associates property. 25 volt alarm bell; metal box with electrical works has small curved arm with ball at end which strikes gong below. Bells like this one were on every level of a mine and were sounded to indicate that the cage was about to ascend or descend from that level.
