STOVE, Spirit
H1989.750
Dark green spirit stove with 3 equidistant stove-top supports which extend downwards to form legs. The shallow cylindrical reservoir has a square lidded refill opening through which runs a wire loosely supporting a thin cork (to indicate fuel depth?). Wick is fixed with no height adjuster knob. There are 3 metal cylinders which sit over the flame, the inner 2 are perforated and the solid outer section has a metal handle. The stove-top is like that of a traditional primus stove. There is also a separate metal recessed plate with a handle affixed to the convex side. The recessed section sits comfortably on the stove-top but is heavily blackened inside. Manufacturer's details are barely discernible, possibly 'PURA' in yellow triangle and there is a red mark before the 'P' and beside and down one of the legs.
