Brass and metal spirit stove. H.1995.166.1 - Brass stove with receptacle for fuel and single raised ring, with wick. Stands in grey painted metal support with handle. H.1995.166.2 - Gold painted metal flame ring has mesh across hole in round burner; inside of burner packed with absorbent material to enable burning. Cap on hinge drops down to dampen flame. On top: 'TWO FLAME SPIRIT STOVE/ RED. TRADE MARK/ IN 'LUX' WAY.' Symbol of sun in centre. Black metal support casing.
