HAT BOX

H1988.143

Hat box of moulded tin, is oval in shape and has a carry handle on top; lid is hinged towards the rear, in the centre front is a gold painted clasp with a key hole. The hat box is painted cream on the outside and a burgundy-rust colour inside. Stencilled on the inside of the lid is "FOY & GIBSON/ MANUFACTURERS/ COLLINGWOOD'.
