Zouave jacket of soft black merino; round neck with hook and eye at front; large triangular revers extending below waist; 3 oblique darts over shoulders give fullness at bosom; very short waist, scalloped at back; curved sleeves slightly gathered at shoulder; cuffs; shoulders, back, lower edge, revers and cuffs decorated with scrolling trim of flat black braid; lined with cream satin.
