Fine white body with clear glaze. Scalloped edge. On rim groups of moulded gilded sections alternating with groups of flowers inside elaborately gilded scrolls. Heavily gilded stylised flowers in between. Plain centre. On back stand and series of concentric circles. Impressed '(symbol)' on centre back. Christie's 16 Aug. lot number 126 b. Described as a 'French plate'. Over glaze enamels in pink, green, yellow, blue and purple.
