a. Clear white body with colourless glaze. Gilding on edge of rim and edge of well. Wreath of flowers and leaves on rim in red, blue and green over-glaze enamels. Sprigs of stylised flowers and gilt leaves in centre. Stan on bottom. Impressed under the glaze on back 'b'. Christie's 16 Aug. 1979 lot number 126 a. b. Very similar to a. though sprigs of flowers slightly different. '3' impressed under the glaze on back. Both described by Christie's as 'a pair of Paris plates'.
