Tea cup. 'Japan' pattern painted in underglaze royal blue with red & green enamels over the glaze. Scalloped rim. Bluish glaze. Painted mark in underglaze blue in crescent shape, probably in imitation of the Worcester crescent of the 1755-90 period. Also bears pattern number in red enamel '324' although these not used at Worcester in this period. Factory unknown.
