"Blue & White & Rouge de Fer circular dish. "Travel". Kang- Hsi period Diaper border in red & green. 12 reserves around sides depicting blue & red & slightly gilt flowers (alternately in vases or in the ground) each is differen Central picture is two people in carriage drawn by two horses, driver on nearer horse, and all followed by a servant with a large parasol. Mountains in background and fence in foreground. Picture red & blue & slightly gilt. In metal hanging bracket (modern). Circula brown sticker on back of dish:"J.SPARKS, 17, DUKE STREET, MANCHESTER SQ. W." Ann Roberts: An unusual Dish, decorated in Imari palette with a central lightl domed medallion depicting a European couple seated in a horse drawn ..... one man astride one of the dappled ponies and another following on foot holding a parasol above the couple's heads, all in a landscape medallion within radiatin panels of alternating flowers and precious objects around the alternately barb and fluted rim and reserved on a green enamel and iron-red cell diaper ground, 18th Century.
