Green band over the glaze around edge. Circle of holly on rim. Motif o mistletoe in centre. Nairn referred to as Holly and Mistletoe pattern. Mark on base (impressed) "W.B." in interwoven rope. Nairn no. 72. Ref. Godden, Encyclopaedia, (1964), page 110, no. 661. Colours over the glaze. Mark used by William Brownfield and sons, Staffordshir 1850-71.
