(a.) Night cap (possibly a morning cap) of white cotton lawn; soft, full crown of slightly coarser fabric, gathered to face-framing band with insertion of openwork white embroidery between; 3 small frills trimmed with whitework around the edge; lappet-like streamers 29cm long, trimmed at the lower edge with whitework, handsewn.
(b.) Night cap (possibly a morning cap) of white cotton lawn; soft crown gathered on lower edge, attached to broad, head-hugging bandeau, all whiteworked with large flowers and small openwork holes; front edge trimmed with 3 rows of small frills; drawstring at back; wide tape ties 38 cm long; handsewn.
